missingWrote a review on 04 Decprivate onsen experiencedated decor
The private onsen experience was incredibly soothing and worth trying, offering a unique touch to our stay.
Our room was quite dated, with a bland decor and not very inviting atmosphere, which could use some modernization.

The hot spring provided an incredibly relaxing experience, making it a highlight of my stay. The peaceful atmosphere and effective foot massage added to the overall comfort of the hotel.
The hotel seems to be stuck in a time warp. the decor is outdated and could use a serious facelift. I experienced several issues, like a non-working air conditioning unit with a broken control panel, alongside a couple of light bulbs out in the room. The breakfast area felt cramped, almost like battling through rush hour on a subway. Plus, the outdoor onsen was smaller than expected. if you're hoping for a spacious soak, you might want to reconsider.

great location, but breakfast could improve
The room was spacious with a nice river view, which added to my overall enjoyment. The onsen experience was fantastic. soaking after a long day in the stunning hot spring felt rejuvenating. I appreciated the helpful staff who made my stay even better with their professionalism.
The breakfast options were somewhat limited and repetitive during my stay.

missingWrote a review on 15 Septspacious roombeautiful decorationrelaxing onsencrowded breakfast
The location of Yumoto Fujiya is fantastic, just a short walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a blend of Western and Japanese styles, providing a nice ambiance. I especially enjoyed the hot spring. soaking in the onsen was incredibly relaxing after exploring the area. The outdoor wooden bath was a highlight for me. Staff members were always available and eager to help with any requests. However, the breakfast buffet felt quite crowded, and the food could use some improvement to match the hotel's otherwise high standard. Plus, I found the mattresses a bit hard, which made sleeping less comfortable than I had hoped. A little more attention to the dining experience could elevate the stay significantly.

We had an awesome trip with friends! The hotel is super close to the station, making everything easy. We loved the private onsen and the variety of dining options. There’s also a great gift shop for last-minute items. Totally recommend exploring the area for more dining spots!
The breakfast selection was nice, but it could have been more varied over our two-night stay. Having the same menu each morning got a bit repetitive.

The location is fantastic (just a stroll from the station)! The hot spring experience was genuinely soothing, and the staff were always accommodating. Breakfast offered a good selection, but could use a few more pastries.
The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times.
